Will waterproof paint fix my damp wall?
Only if the wall is sound and the damp is from surface exposure. If water is entering through a crack or from another room, a coating traps it and the problem reappears. The diagnosis decides, not the product.
What is elastomeric coating?
A flexible exterior coating that bridges hairline cracks as the wall moves. It is genuinely useful on an exposed elevation with fine cracking, and it is not a substitute for repairing a structural crack.
