About l-shaped modular kitchen
An L-shaped kitchen puts the sink on one run and the hob on the other, which produces a natural working triangle and keeps the traffic path out of the work zone. For most Mumbai kitchens it is the layout that fits best.
Its one weakness is the corner. A plain corner cabinet is a deep, dark cavity where things go to be forgotten. A carousel or a magic corner costs more and converts that dead volume into the most useful storage in the kitchen.

L-Shaped Modular Kitchen — questions
What do I do with the corner?
Fit a carousel or a magic corner. A plain corner cabinet in an L-shape is roughly 30% of your base storage and it is effectively unreachable past the first 400 mm. The pull-out mechanism costs meaningfully more and it is the single upgrade in an L-shaped kitchen that changes daily use the most.
How long should each leg be?
The shorter leg needs at least 1,800 mm to carry a useful run. Below that you have a straight kitchen with a stub. The longer leg typically takes the sink and the main prep area.
Where should the sink go?
Under the window where there is one, which is usually on the longer run. The practical rule is to keep at least 600 mm of uninterrupted counter on each side of the sink for stacking and draining — that clearance matters more than the exact position.
