Is the site visit really free?
Yes. A designer or engineer visits, measures, surveys and gives you a written scope and an itemised quotation at no charge and with no obligation. We would rather you had an accurate picture of your flat even if you appoint someone else.
How quickly can you visit?
Usually within 24 to 48 hours anywhere in Mumbai. Send photographs on WhatsApp beforehand and we can often tell you how urgent the situation is before we arrive.
Why is your quotation higher than others I have received?
Usually because it includes things the others left out — the carcass grade, the preparation coats, the electrical load work, or an exclusion the other quotation did not state. Compare the line items rather than the totals. If ours is genuinely higher for the same specification, we will tell you.
Do you give rates over the phone?
No. A rate-card number for a flat nobody has seen is a guess, and it becomes your problem when the site conditions surface on day four. The visit is free precisely so the number can be real.
What materials do you use?
Named in every quotation: 18 mm BWP 710 plywood carcass, Hettich or Hafele hardware, 12.5 mm gypsum board on 0.5 mm GI framing, ISI-marked copper wiring, Asian Paints or Nerolac with the grade stated. If a quotation does not name these, the specification can change after you sign.
How long does a 2BHK take?
Interiors 45 to 70 days. Full renovation including services 60 to 90 days. Painting alone 7 to 10 days. A false ceiling 6 to 9 days. We give you a dated schedule, not a range, once the scope is fixed.
Do you handle society permissions?
We confirm the society's rules in writing before quoting and prepare the application, including contractor details and insurance. The application and deposit stay in the flat owner's name, which is what societies require.
What warranty do you give?
One year on workmanship as standard, five years on waterproofing systems, plus the manufacturer's own warranty on hardware — Hettich and Hafele are ten years on hinges and channels. Documentation is handed over at completion.
Can I stay in the flat during the work?
For painting, a single room, or a bathroom — yes. For a full interior or renovation, we recommend moving out. Phasing it so you can stay is possible and adds roughly 30 to 40% to the timeline.
What happens if you find something unexpected?
It is priced and sent to you in writing before any work on it proceeds. Our quotations name provisional sums for the discoveries we think are likely on a flat of that age, so most are allowed for rather than being a surprise.
